Fabulous accomodation for our large family. Plenty of space and the laundry facilities were a welcome inclusion after a gruelling day of hiking. Highly recommend for a family or group

Beautiful Accommodation
Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely B&B, beautifully furnished quiet area. We had room number 2 which was for a family of 3, very comfortable. Continental breakfast included in our stay and we would like to say how helpful and lovely Anna was helping us with all our needs. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Launceston.

Very good 8.0
Convient, comfy B&B
Waratah on York is located on top of a hill with lovely views over city park. Beware it's very steep hill to walk down (and up). The staff we exceedingly friendly and gave very helpful suggestions on where to eat and things to do. The continental breakfast was above average, and the offer of hot croissants was a very nice touch. The cleanliness of the room was great, we had a couple of comfortable chairs, a reasonably comfortable king size bed and a spa bath. The bathroom amenities were nothing memorable, but were provided. The only downside is that it is a bit of bugger to find at night, (so is their key safe). But the texted instructions on how to use the safe and wifi were great. The biggest annoyance is when a hotels puts up a sign up asking guest to be environmentally conscious and hang up their towels, (which I am happy to do) but then the half flush on the toilet doesn't work.
