Good value for money and food and service were excellent. Hotel is a bit tired. Linoleum in the bathroom is lifted and trippable. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Stairway carpet needs cleaning.

Short stay in Launceston

I had one night and it was very comfortable. The room and bathroom was basic but clean. No soap or any toiletries were provided, only towels. The staff were lovely and there are a number of restaurants nearby which is very convenient. I’m on the first floor and had lovely view of the street but you can hear traffic from the early hours in the morning.

I am very disappointed with the behaviour of the staff. It is written there is air conditioner in each room but there is none. No ensuite, you have to walk all the way out to the bathroom. Poor customer service. After hours number didn't pickup the phone not even called back.

Firstly, the room is absolutely disgusting. There are still previous guests’ hair on the sheet and significant amount of spit on the ground. Secondly, the reception is extremely lazy. Guests should go across a long, dark and narrow corridor to get outside the hotel after 5 p.m. Thirdly, most of the residents here are not “backpackers”. They are probably homeless junkies who made poisonous loud noises during midnight. Finally, the shared bathroom are also sickly disgusting. Drunken people are vomiting in the sink and toilet, no hotel staff are going to clean it. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
