Beautiful old pub, well kept and full of character. The location is great and the facilities are decent. The rooms are cute and full of history. The owners were so lovely when they greeted us on arrival. Thanks for the hospitality!

My partner and I had the best stay. The owner Sally was lovely, it's in the best location and our bed was so comfy. We have the best time and I'd come back. We also had an ocean view room!

Nice place/perfect position.
My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in April 2023. I wasn't aware it was a "shaerd bathroom" although it clearly states it prior to booking, I just overlooked it so my fault there. If that kind of thing is okay with you then that's fine. Bathrooms, toilet was clean. Rooms are small with just a bed, bar fridge and small table and chairs in them. In our case the King size bed was terrific. Position is terrific being in the centre of the small town. The restaurant is closed as they don't have a chef, but they do Canape's and wine on a Saturday in the front lounge which looked busy. Noise can be heard throughout the hallway as rooms are close together and doors not soundproof. Entrance is by automatic door lock, so there's no reception to greet you etc. Coffee/tea/milk supplied in the hallway as well as your room with a kettle. Walls and flooring would be as you'd expect from a 120 year old building so don't book looking for a modern, asthetic motel.
