The location of the property in the main street of Montville was excellent. The room had new carpet and was a reasonable size. The bathroom had a new toilet however the apricot tiles, sink, brown switches and power points were outdated. Satisfactory accommodation for the price.

I have to say the bed was comfortable and overall the unit was clean. The problems were obvious as soon as we got there. There are two very steep driveways that need to be negotiated and as it was raining they had to be handled with care and traversing while cars were coming up and down them. There was no phone in the unit to call reception and we were later these had been pulled out so we had to use our mobiles to make contact. Wifi was only available for about two minutes at a time before it dropped out. The most disappointing element of our stay was there was no hot water so cold showers were necessary. When we raised this with a lady cleaning the rooms she informed us that the hot water service was broken. Why would we be given a room when it is known the hot water service was not working?
