We should have been told in advance that they had dogs. What if guests were allergic?! The hosts were very nice but it was not quite what we expected. We didn’t see or hear about the advertised exercise center.

Cute B&B in Calistoga with friendly hosts.
Dennis and Marjorie are very friendly and warming hosts. The breakfasts were delicious and yummy. They also provide very good afternoon snacks with good wines made from front vineyard. We stayed at Cyprus room that is comfortable and cute, except bathroom is a little tiny. Funny thing is that bathroom mirror is for tall people. For me 5'2, I can only see my eyes and above in the mirror. But there are other mirrors in the room good for short people so it works out for me :P It was entirely enjoyable and relax trip. We will return the next time we're back in Calistoga.

A Genuine Experience in the Heart of Napa Valley
Part Bed & Breakfast, part Wine-country Commune, part Group Therapy Camp. This has got to be the most unique and pleasant experience I've had as a guest, paid or otherwise. Dennis and Marjorie are the quintessential hosts, providing rooms with unique charm & ample comfort. I stayed in The Cottage, where the effulgent well water shower in a bear-claw tub was so refreshing. The breakfasts were imaginative, abundant, and fun, as we all chatted about what we might do that day. Then, in the late afternoon, as if called back by magic, we reconvened in the parlor to sample wine (both Dennis' sublime premise-made Cab and bottles we had acquired from our visits) and discussed a great many topics. Guests came and went each day, and were from such diverse places, backgrounds and mindsets. It was entirely enjoyable. Come into the experience understanding this is more that just a B&B and you're liable to get far more from it.
