Not bad at all if you don't need internet
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The internet in our room did not work well and they went out of their way to help us. Unfortunately, it got worse the second day and honestly speaking, it's unthinkable to experience any hotel in Singapore to have no internet service. Even free public WIFI works better. When we were in the other two rooms they tried to change for us, it worked perfect, so clearly it's the room we were in that had problem. Must praise the staff for their efforts, but the other two rooms were way too noisy with generator next to them. Other then that, not much negative things to say about it. It's well decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere. At the end of the day, it all comes down to the staff. They were all very nice. The location of the hotel is alright. 10 mins walk to the nearest MRT station. There are also quite a few eating places, good for guests who enjoy Malay cuisine. The bed in our room 224 was comfy and having a bottle a day for each guest and supplying disposible toothbrush and toothpaste are highly appreciated. Thank you for the helpfulness n friendliness and yes, please solve the internet issues. All the best

Worst hotel ever
This is consider the worst hotel throughout my trip. The key that they provided didn't work for my door when I arrived and I have to go to the counter multiple times. I ended up having to request for another room due to the door issue. The biggest problem was that they didn't have hot water. I have to run out of the shower because the water turned freezing cold when I was halfway showering. I called the next day and the person from the counter came up and checked. He asked whether this is my first time with the cold water and I said no. Instead of fixing the issue, he said call the counter again and he will come back the next day if this problem continues. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fine for a small budget hotel
It's fine if you just want somewhere to wash and sleep, but there isn't much space or comfort. The rooms are tiny, I'm a small person and the room entrance and bathroom size made me feel really enclosed. If you're a bigger person you really wouldn't like it. In saying that it does its job, the bed was fine and the shower and toilet was fine. Can't complain too much when you book a budget hotel. it was clean which is also what really matters. The breakfast was good. The location was good, close to the city and the air port. I left an item behind when we checked out and emailed them about it the following day, they kept it for me for a few days until I could return which was really good.

Very good 8.0
This hotel offered a family room ( queen and single ) for a great rate compared to some others in Singapore. It is located in a safe neighbourhood on the city outskirts but close enough to an MRT station, mall, supermarket, restaurants, markets, and hawker food stalls, to have something for everyone. We ended up stayng at this hotel at the begining and end of our holiday, so got to stay in both rooms with and without windows, in our opinion spend the extra few dollars to get a room with windows, while the view may not be great the sunlight and abliituty to have a little fresh air is priceless. Both of our rooms were spacious, but the room without windows was a little run down, wallpaper peeling around the bathroom door and what appeared to be a little mould in the bathroom, cant be sure... the room with windows was better and was both clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly, and were happy to assist with answering our questions about Singapore.

The rooms are starting to look a little shabby, eg, some mould, walls and doors need a clean. In the bathroom the knob was gone to pull up to get the water to come through the shower instead of the tap. On arrival my room mini fridge didn’t seem to be cold, but after telling Reception staff it was working when I returned later in the day. I found the hotel fairly quiet, and housekeeping always had my room done by the time I got back after lunch. Check-in and out is very quick. I like all the food options closeby, and the Fairprice Supermarket across the road in the Joo Chiat Complex. There is also a good bus stop around the corner past the front of the Joo Chiat Complex. Many handy bus route pass by there to get into town, or up to Paya Lebar MRT station. Wifi in my room was very good this time, but on some previous stays it has been difficult to get decent internet access. I’ll stay again if the price is right.
