First when we check in, the room the AC didn’t work, we call and they went to the room and just change the temperature in the thermostat like we haven’t done that. They never fix it we call a couple times more they didn’t fix it. Also we had a friend that visit us in the hotel and they didn’t let my friend inside of the room they wanted to charge 80$ if he was gonna go inside the room even if it’s was for 10 minutes. I’m never staying again.

Hotels.com ate my first review, but I liked my stay at Golden Tower so much, I'm going to write it again. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - I was most impressed by the service; all of the staff I talked to spoke very good English, and all were very courteous, friendly, and professional. They went out of their way to accommodate a couple of odd requests from me. The room was spacious and quiet, the rainfall shower head was HEAVENLY, and I fell in love with the provided bathrobe. The furniture (bed and loveseat) are quite firm, which was fine for me but others may not like; also, my room (1401) backed up to the adjacent Radisson and Hard Rock Hotels and got some ambient noise from their industrial air conditioning unit, but that quickly became white noise. All the food I ate there was very good (hotel breakfast, room service, on-site restaurant) and room service was prompt and very reasonably priced. I also enjoyed making use of the indoor heated pool. The hotel is right next to the Multicentro mall with a cinema, shops, and restaurants, and it is a short walk to Cinta Costera as well as most of downtown Panama City. I was very pleased with my stay and look forward to returning.

We have stayed many times. We enjoy the location and near by shopping and restaurants . However , little things are missing . We bring to the attention after every stay but they do not take our recommendations . One feature all gyms needs are towels and cleansing wipes . This is always missing . Good shower and good beds . Nice staff and good mojitos . We would stay again

We have stayed there twice. After the first stay we spoke with reception about the concerns hoping to be addressed but after coming back nothing we spoke about was addressed so I thought I would write a review. Overall the hotel is great! The location is great and there are many great dining options within walking as well as 2 shopping centers within walking distance. The Michelin restaurant advertised on the website has not been open either time and we got the impression it is closed down; it should be taken off the web. The rooms are clean and comfortable . The shower is amazing and beds comfortable . Our main concern is the gym: they do not always have water, they almost never have towels for clients (we had to go to the pool daily to grab one) , and the most concerning part is there is no sprays or wipes to use to clean your machines or mats after you use them. This makes me believe the equipment is unsanitary. Most hotels offer spray and towels or antibacterial wipes ; this would go a long way to ensure cleanliness or the gym. The other concern is the internet is very spotty or was for us both times we stayed there . But overall it is a nice place , conveniently located and comfortable . Hope these little issues can be addressed so we can visit again.

Check in and out was a breeze and the complimentary welcome drink was a nice touch. The staff was super courteous and helpful. Everyone I interacted with spoke a good amount of English so communication wasn't an issue. The room was really nice and spacious. I had a nice view of the city. Didn't really have any issues with the room/property other than a little water seeping out under the stall door after a shower (and that was super minor). Loved the gym as there was a lot of useful equipment. Great indoor pool which is beautifully lit at night and good for escaping the rain. The continental breakfast had a lot of options; make sure to try the omelettes and waffles. It was a good location to stay in; not far from the airport or attractions. There's an outlet mall down the street and some local restaurants in the opposite direction, but I didn't walk around much in that area. Uber everywhere. Overall, it was lovely.
