Uncomfortable and can’t recommend
To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Friendly, but ultimately Indifferent service - clerks knew about the issues with our room, but did little or nothing to resolve - look closely at the photos. The bed pillow is ONE long foam pillow. :(( very hard and not suitable for two. when we asked for separate pillows, the clerk came back with one pillow which a lumpy mess stuffed with cut up foam. - bed is also foam and rock hard. -toilet paper dispenser rations paper, giving two sheets at a time. It is also locked, and when paper broke off inside and husband had to go ask for help, clerk said “oh yes, this happens. we don’t have a key” but produced two rolls. ??? why not give these to start? - one tiny bottle of shampoo is only toiletry provided. no soap. no lotion. - air conditioner can’t be used as the remote is covered in saran and had moisture inside. when we showed clerk she said “oh yeah we know”. so don’t count on air conditioning during your stay. - there is no restaurant as shown in ad. no option for buffet. in addition there is a $200 euro fine if you eat in your room so no option for take out either. - there were vending machines, they didn’t work. -there was a “bar” with bottles of wine displayed, they weren’t for sale.

The hotel is suitable for disabled guests, the staff extremely helpful, the location excellent for seeing the sights and restaurants and shopping. A small hotel but for the price excellent as a place to just stay with no frills.

Good hotel
The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. They have an underground parking on the premises accessible via car lift/elevator and it’s a tight fit for a compact size car, but they said the lift fits larger vehicles. The good part is that the staff will guide you into the lift which is very helpful. Overall, the room is pretty good, clean and decent size. The only issue we had is that traveling in the winter, the room felt cold even with the heater turned on. The reason was that the floor was tile which stayed cold overnight. The staff was excellent.
