Pros: - room is nice and clean - bed is firm enough for my liking which is a decent surprise - 3-minute walk from the nearest train station. a trip to/from the city takes almost an hour, but I find Sydney trains to be quite good so it's manageable - nice shower pressure - staff is friendly Cons: - some minor build quality issues in the bathroom (toilet paper holder and toilet seat coming loose, end of tap has got an extra hole) - some outside noise definitely got into the room - there's a betting parlour downstairs which could be a turnoff for some people 7.5/10

The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the roof was not very good. You could clearly hear every single person walking by on the street talking, every single car driving past and every single door that opened. They need to be able to make the room more comfortable by reducing the amount of outside noise that comes in.
