Could be dangerous
To say that what I experienced was not true was quite sad, I reported to you and your wife the fact that I was experiencing electric shocks through the shower and when Michael your other guest explained it to you , you had replied that ‘he should stand on the plastic’ which isn’t a reasonable answer, the cabling in the shower was bare and there was definitely shocks coming through the shower. As far as you and your wife go, you are both very pleasant, I had no issues that way but my stay otherwise was a bit unfortunate, prices I guess are reasonable but when getting shocks it’s a different story , plug socket hanging from wall also Potentially all dangerous No hot water hardly after day 4 And that plastic bit coming flying off at every turn was very annoying Unfortunately after staying it does not give you the option of contacting directly or I would have !
Kevin, gb13 night trip
Good 6.0
The location area was far away from downtown Lapa by taxi it cost about 40 reales. However for Carnaval the place is closer to sambadromo taxi cost 20 to 27reales. During the last 2 days in our stay, there was no water for the whole block for an extended period of time. Keep in mind, the Weather is hot and humind for compensation they gives one time Caperinha drink of 3 ounces (note: When I asked for money compensation it was rejected because the location was not at fault the whole neighborhood was impacted). The location is located on a hill If you have any handicap this location is difficult to walk best way is to use taxi. Otherwise Jorge was very friendly speak Spanish and help us to buy ticket to Corvado and carnaval.

Poor 2.0
Bad service
Power was off almost 24hours and staff didn’t do anything to try to solve problems of guests which caused from it. Also maybe one half apology was given and no discount either.

A great place to rest
very well maintained old house with a very nice view and decoration. It has a very nice restaurant right in front and the neighborhood is delightful. Looking forward to going back there.
