A day to relax
Staff was very, very helpful. I talk to everyone so I interacted with all staff at some point and everyone was friendly. Bathroom was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Price was perfect.

Great stay with fabulous staff & picturesque view!
It was our anniversary weekend and the staff were great! The views were just breathe taking. My fiancé proposed to me in the hotel and the staff was so gracious making it even more spectacular. I would highly recommend this hotel/ski lodge. It was clean and well cared for. Can’t wait to go back!

New owner is trying very hard
Sometimes it is easy to be critical without understanding the context. A nice staff can really make up for small flaws and this staff was so nice and accommodating that it is indeed hard to be critical. This is an old lodge with a new owner who is painstakingly renovating every inch of the lodge. Since the lodge is over 60 years old there will be kinks, alot of which have been thoroughly worked out. The rooms are warm and cozy, the lobby has a nice fireplace and bar. The owner is a trained chief who produces wonderful tapas every evening. When we were there a guitarist played for guests in the lobby until 10. This is one of the few establishments in Killington that provides a free continental breakfast. Wonderful touches like these set this place apart from the rest. The new owner has only been in charge for one year. I expect great things. Heartily recommend for ski season!

Character and charm
This is a delightful hotel near Killington ski area. Even though we arrived late at night, check-in was quick and efficient. The staff were friendly and made sure we had anything needed for our stay. The room was comfortable and decorated nicely. Overall, this is a lovely place to stay for a hiking or skiing trip.

Friendly and quiet
We stayed at the Highline for a quick overnight so the kids could go to Killington's Action Center on Labor Day. Check in was easy and the young lady at the desk was very friendly. The main lobby/bar/community area is very nice and clean. When I commented on this area she said they had just purchased the lodge about a year ago and were renovating. The upper level is dated and our room was tight with two double beds, having one side of each bed against a wall. The room was very clean and the mattresses were comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom was small but functional and the shower stall recently tiled and granite on the sink. The room was quiet but it's off season, would need to see how it is during ski season. There is a small pool/jacuzzi in the back that's heated which we didn't use as we got in late and a nice flagstone patio with fire pit. All in all it is fine for a short stay but the room we were in would not work for more than than, I did see suite style rooms that I would be interested in seeing how much more room is in there. Definitely worth the money.
