Hotel 1-2-3 Tennoji, Osaka, Japan
Ordinary but budgeted price accommodation
The building and fittings are rather dated, rooms are ordinary and a bit small for a family of three.

Family Trip
I stayed in Hotel 1-2-3 Tennoji for 5 nights with my 2 sons. Our first trip to Japan. The hotel is easy to find. It is near Teradacho Station, one stop from Tennoji Stn. It is worth the amount I paid, also with free buffet breakfast which is a plus factor. Although breakfast is not that grand with limited selection but good enough to start the day. If nonsmoker, make sure you book a nonsmoking room. I booked the smoking room because that was the only one triple room available & requested to be transferred to non-smoking upon check-in but not granted allegedly because the hotel was fully booked. When we entered the room, there was a strong cigarette smell. Hotel staff were courteous, although cant speak english well. Toilet was ok, not big but clean. They clean the room everyday, changed towels & toiletries. They also have water dispenser (hot & cold) at the ground floor wherein you can get water anytime. I would go back to this hotel & recommend to friends. Price is reasonable.

Convenient Hotel
Location was fantastic as it is just 5 minutes walk from Teradacho station, service was average, room size is adequate but looked aged. This place is definitely value for money if you just need a place to stay for the night.

I made the choice of staying at Hotel 1 2 3 as it seemed close to station and food etc, after having a bad stay at a previously booked accom regarding noise and shower facilities and room size I decided to stay our last night in Japan at Hotel 1 2 3. We were happy with the size and comfort and the private shower, the closeness to station and had a wonderful meal out at dinner around the corner.

I had a one night stay in this Hotel. It was fairly near to a Subway station, which was a great plus. We arrived at this Hotel early, since we transferred from another hotel from the night before with the intention to leave our luggage in this Hotel. The staff was helpful enough to give us the room key first (even though we weren't allowed to check in yet - but he was concerned if we return from our day trip too late - which we did) and helped us carry our luggage bags into our room (there is a lift). We got a family room (which we originally intended to come with another friend but he didn't show up), it was quite roomy, although the linens are quite worn but still clean. We had a bathroom with a Japanese tub, I think it's a standard for hotels in Japan, was quite clean before use, however, when we finished using the tub to drain out the water, the water backed up and kind of flooded the bathroom a little. It was due to the uncleared drainer in the hidden compartment, I hope it wasn't like this for all the rooms because for us, it was quite disgusting. Other than that the room stay was quite okay. We didn't have any problem(s) with the air conditioning as it was cold out and we cracked a window for the cold air to seep in since we couldn't sleep if it's too warm. We were also provided with a simple Japanese buffet breakfast, which was okay for our taste.
