Good convenient location near a large Meijer market and adjacent to a diner, near waterfront and bus stop if you prefer not to walk or drive to Woodward area. I walked to a Tigers game, maybe a leisurely half hour.

This is a great value place to stay! Little Less than a mile from comerica park and Ford field. Just outside downtown, easy walk to the city center, the river walk and not far to jump the border. The room was comfortable and clean. The office staff provided me with toothpaste as I forgot it. They have a nice little spread for breakfast as well.

The staff was excellent, very friendly. The room itself was mostly clean, the shower didn’t have a lot of pressure but the hot water was very great! My tv had horrible reception, couldn’t really hear or see anything. The fridge was very nice and the AC worked great. The room also had a microwave which was convenient. The parking was nice and they offer a shuttle service too. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, they had a waffle maker, boiled eggs, and apple, orange juice available. Overall amazing and delicious, would definitely recommend and stay there again for the price!

TV kept freezing, no comforter on either bed, asked for a comforter for both beds and never received one. Staff on personal calls on speaker phone during breakfast hours with guests in the lobby. Zero room service for towels, toilet paper, etc. Nice location near downtown, the staff was not professional or helpful.

Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was mostly clean, although it is a little outdated and could use some updating and general cleanup in a few areas. Our room was perfectly fine and comfortable for what we needed. The free breakfast was a nice bonus, and the shuttle to Comerica Park was awesome and definitely one of the highlights of staying here! It made getting to and from the game so much easier. Overall, not a bad place at all for a quick couple-day trip. We’d consider staying again, especially for another trip to Comerica Park.

The clerk who check me in (black lady) was great , waited in lobby maybe 13mins because room wasn't ready but she checked several times for me. Upon Arriving to room hallway reek of urine. Room was clean & bug free but the room was tight !! The space from the dresser to bed causes you to walk horizontally. It was hard moving my belongings without lifting them or dragging it across the bed . Overall ok ...5/6mins from downtown 1/2mins from Riverwalk

The hotel was fully booked during our stay. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The staff was very helpful and brought us a plunger. They offered to move our room, but unfortunately it was discovered that no other rooms were available. The bed was also not very comfortable.

Room had a bit of a cigarette smell to it and one of the lamps didn’t work, but for cheap accommodation in Detroit, we were very pleased. The staff were incredible too!! Had us in stitches over breakfast chatting on both mornings. Recommend this place

2/10 Poor

Good location and free shuttle on the afternoon on weekends the driver was courteous and friendly, the room was clean but the bed was horrible The mattress was damaged and had a dent in the middle I asked the manager to change and all they did was turn upside down it didn’t help, couldn’t a good night of sleep, the cleaning lady also tried to get help was also ignored, otherwise the location is good and breakfast average I guess you get what you paid for or never again.
