Nice and cozy hotel by the beach
Nice and cozy hotel right next to the beach. Although the hotel is quite old, it's still in a very good condition. The included breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

stylish hotel with beautiful artworks
lovely hotel near beach. interesting artworks throughout hotel and in bar downstairs. best buffet breakfast in all our European travels. we seemed to be the only non Dutch guests but everyone spoke English. good base to explore Zeeland islands. pet friendly so lots of dogs around. spotlessly clean and. very comfortable. we met the owner as we were leaving and he gave us plenty of interesting information about the artworks. plenty of free parking. This hotel probably only reached by car. Overall very pleasant stay.

Great Location shame about check in!
This hotel is in a great location and clean. The only problem I had was when we checked in the said there was a problem with the price and they had mad a mistake and had to charge us another 50% (€56) because we had our 7 year old son with us, which they knew when we had the booking. I explained this and the email clearly stated from Expedia the 50% charge had already been allocated. Once I found the email they backed down rather quickly. Would I stay at the hotel again, no as I don't like the feeling of being ripped off

Not recommended until building work finished
When this hotel is finished it will be lovely. There were workman on site all day. Very noisy at times. There are no tea-making facilities in the room. We had a hanging rail but NO clothes hangers. We were the first people ever to use our room - the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. We had to use a mop and towels on the floor after every shower. We were not offered any kind of refund when we complained at check out. Food was good, and the dining staff lovely. Lovely location, could not be closer to the sea. Excellent for dogs.

We only stayed for one night as we were cycling through, but it was a very pleasant stay. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, and right by the beach! It is a short walk/cycle into town, but that wasn't a problem and there are 2 beach bars/cafes close by, plus the hotel does its own dinner buffet. There's a wooden bike shed for their hire bikes which is locked at night; we were allowed to lock our bikes there for the night which was excellent! It would be nice to come back and spend longer!
