Small and cozy room
Staff are very nice and helpful, the hotel provide shuttle bus to go to Seoul station. And the location is good, only 5-8 mins arrive Myongdong. The room is small.

Comfortable and clean
We enjoyed staying at Staz Hotel. On the last day of the trip, the receptionist is a bit unhelpful. Our flight is on sunday morning 0935hrs. We tried to ask the alternative way to go to Incheon airport instead of korea train, she is not giving us any advise, we had to find out ourselves. In the end, we have to book taxi for 96000 won which is more than AUD 100 to go to airport in the early morning. Then we found out there is an airport bus close to the hotel, the service starts at 0440hrs for every 25 mins. The cost is only 14000won. Overall the stay was really good, complimentary mineral water every day.

good value for money
it was generally good and pleasant. The room, esp bathtub, is tiny, but that's what you get for relatively cheap and clean hotels in a central location. The hotel gave me a breakfast coupon for free, and the breakfast was very good. I would consider staying here again during my next visit to Seoul

A great find.
As the hotel is only new, January 2015, most gps don't have a reference. But the taxi driver phoned the hotel and was given instructions. Maybe a more detailed map would be of benefit

Room was okay but staff made me feel uncomfortable
The check in process was very fast, and front desk staff are very friendly. I have purple highlights on my hair, so I wanted to double check with the front desk staff before I use their towels. The staff did not understand much English, so he came upstairs to my room to check what I was talking about. After he understood what I was saying, he advised me to not use their towel and told me many times to be careful leaving color or stains on the wall, or I may be charged damage penalties. I advised him that I will use my own towel, and I ensure him I will be careful with the walls. However after this person left my room, he then came back knocking again and repeated the same thing to me for few more times and was pointing to the walls and floor over and over again, and started to inspect the room. This action really made me feel very uncomfortable, and it makes me feel like I am not welcomed. Other than that incident, everything was fine with my stay. The room was clean and cozy, and I really like the duplex room. I booked this room because I see that in the pictures you will have the Seoul tower view at night, however my room was facing an office building so I had to always keep my curtains closed for privacy.
