It was very racist I booked a room online from you from Expedia and it was in the room that I booked online when I got there they will not give me my money back because my husband was white and I was black and I could tell that they did not want us in that hotel so we left and they would not refund my money back and then when I got there I thought it was really beautiful so I booked another night they still didn’t get my money back to me because I left after the way I was treated when I got there and seen a room that I thought I booked online and when I get there it was in the room that I booked at all I think I am going to get a lawyer about this situation please anybody that wants to go to the hotel do not go they are racist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This stay was amazing. Top quality service, great amenities. Nice massage, LoLo did a great job. The room is beautiful, the bed is comfortable and anything we needed was quickly resolved.

Absolute failure
On July 1st, my husband and I were booked for the king suite at The 9. We had previously booked about a month or so out. When we arrived at the hotel we were told we were down graded to a double suite because the hotel had been over sold and our reservations were not guaranteed. Leading up to this point, we had been in communication with the hotel 3 times to confirm our reservation, attempt to book an in-room massage, as well to inform them we would be celebrating our recent marriage as this would be our impromptu honeymoon. The check in staff was completely unsympathetic and eventually moved us to a king accessible room. The room had no Japanese soaking tub, no double shower- nothing that the room we had booked AND ALREADY PAID FOR offered. We left the hotel to get some dinner, upset - but trying to salvage the evening and figure out what our next move would be. When we got back to the hotel around midnight or so- the gentleman at the desk, again- moved our room (he was very nice)- this time to a queen suite. Upon arrival to the room- we realize again, there is no soaking tub, no living room area - nothing like what we had booked and paid for. We are going extremely disappointed and honestly furious that management did nothing to try and intervene. Not even an apology. To be told that because we booked a room through hotels.com our room isn't guaranteed- even though we were charged a month ago is absolutely ridiculous.
