Great Colonial Hotel in Heart of Colombo
Great small boutique hotel in the heart of Colombo. It is walking distance to all main 'attractions' and also provides a good quiet escape from the chaos going on around you. I would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Colombo.

A beautiful relaxing boutique hotel in a quiet but accessible part of Colombo. Our room was palatial and very comfortable. Welcome drink and tray of sweets and chocolate was a lovely touch. Staff were very attentive and efficient. The bar and restaurant were fantastic. Great cocktails, wonderful food- Euro-Asian fusion, but leaning more to European. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and hope to return there soon.

Colonial elegant oasis amid high rise mayhem
Arriving after midnight, really tired, to be welcomed and introduced to an 80+ square meter residence with massive high ceilings, made e the start of our week so relaxing. Everything was no problem. Staff in abundance awaiting our call. Privacy within one accommodation. We hardly saw another soul. Meals first class. Bar, library, meeting rooms and pool at your leisure. Front desk so helpful. Thick walls so no road or neighbour noise. Overall: visit UGA Residence in Colombo for your really special occasion.

We stayed at Residence for 4 nights. First stop during first time to Sri Lanka. The hospitality provided by the staff was fantastic. They could not do enough for us. We did not come with firm travel plans and were looking for local guidance which was not really forthcoming however all in all we had a great time. The residence is in a central location and easy to find. It is as the pictures portray.

Uga Residences - A fanciful home away from home!
The staff at Uga were amazing, and the room size and comfort is simply outstanding. To top it all off, each meal there is a culinary delight, from a simple croissant, to the amazing steaks for dinner. truly one of the best properties i have stayed at.

A very comfortable oasis in the middle of Colombo. The beautiful pool only has 4 sunbeds round it, but while we were there this was never a problem. As is customary in Sri Lanka the service is glacially slow in the bar and restaurant. The restaurants in Park Street Mews next door are worth investigating.

Very happy with experience at this hotel. Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was very smiley, accommodating, and helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was 10/10 delicious. Location was great too, only a short walk to a lot of temples and sightseeing places. Only slight con was that our bathroom door didn’t lock properly. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Colombo!
