Excellent location! Close to everywhere esp. to the Schlösser from the main train station。breakfast was excellent for 11 Euro。hotel has a restaurant too and our lunch was very tasty. The only 3 issues are. 1: no lift. You must carry your luggage to the 3rd floor or higher. 2. No A/C. There is a fan though, It rained at night so it was not hot in the room; 3. The room was tiny, hard to turn around for two people and getting things out of your suitcases. Instead the bathroom is spacious. If you do not mind these, that would be fine.

Great location, outdated room
There are not a lot of updated/modern accommodations in Fussen, but this option will suffice. The rooms are a little outdated, but clean and large. We stayed in an area outside of the main hotel that had a garbage smell in the staircase that you had to walk up to get to the room. There is parking on-site. The hotel staff is helpful. The location of this hotel, though, cannot be beat. You are right in the central area of Fussen with all of the shopping and dining options and only a 10 min drive from the Castles.

We found a very convenient that there was a restaurant in the hotel. Everything is very walkable and easy parking. However, there was a god awful smell in the hallway that led into our room a little bit. We hated the smell.
