Garden lavish suite-good room, poor service
Booked the above mentioned room to celebrate wedding anniversary, staff who checked us in was a Korean trainee on her own who did not wish us congratulations and upon requesting for a late check at 2PM out just told us no only 1PM. I like to think it's a language barrier but some retraining should be done on her service attitude. Room was cozy and comfortable and almost clean if I had not checked the little garden and realised a bottle used as an ashtray was left over on the garden table and previous hotel guest's slippers had been left outside wet as I can understand it was raining earlier in the day however it did not leave a very good impression. The jacuzzi was lovely for two but kept draining out water even after several Attempts at making sure it was plugged properly. Overall, a simple lovely suite room but service can be much much better. Came back at 2AM from the celebration dinner and again tried to request for a late check out and was told the room was booked for the day and we had to check out by 1. This was certainly not the case as I went online to see if I could book another night and much to my displeasure, it was not booked as I was previously told.

Exceptional 10.0
Pretty good
Comfortable beds, at least two universal plugs. Clean. Only things we didn't like was the fact that it wasn't well lit enough for four girls to put on make up, especally at night. And not enough mirrors. Great location, near everything we needed to be close to to close enuff so we could take a bus or taxi to hit whatever we wanted. Cleaning was on point! Staff was super helpful and nice right off the bat. The first day, they were fully booked out so they said they couldn't give us an early reservation but they saw how exhausted we were and the second someone checked out they had the room cleaned and offered it to us. And from that point on no matter how much we bothered them for things they helped immidietly.

Nice find.
Overall a good stay. The place is small and does NOT provide full hotel amenities such as concierge, etc. We took our suitcases to the room ourselves. Room was quite nice and as shown in pictures. The bathroom was quite small and could use some renovation as on 3rd day the bidet hose broke and flooded the bathroom. Breakfast is quite minimal at the hotel restaurant but OK quality. Coffee is great. Area is very close to a few well known Mosques so lots of Turkish, Labenese, Muslim cuisine options. Best feature was that we were provided a free to use cell phone (android .. called handy) with voice and data services during our stay. This is a big deal as I've not see this anywhere else ... was very helpful to be in a roaming area and not have to buy expensive data on your personal device.

Comfortable Hotel
The staff at this hotel were very friendly, kind, and helpful. The hotel staff provided directions to locations such as, the MRT (within walking distance) StarBucks (a half block up the street in the Concourse), restaurants, and called MaxiCabs upon request. The room was a little small for 2 adults and 1 child, but comfortable, cosy, and clean. The complimentary cell phone was a blessing! The disadvantage of being located on the 1st floor was the noise made from people walking on the sidewalk past the room talking different hours of the night, or morning, and the small delivery trucks making deliveries to nearby locations. The breakfast buffet was okay, but it could have been better. There is a gym, but it is small. Overall, my family enjoyed staying at this hotel and talking with the staff.

Good 6.0
The stay was generally okay but I take issues with 3 points - 1. The door did not auto-lock upon closing. We noticed this when leaving and we tried all means to lock it but unable to. The hotel sent someone to come up to help but the auto-lock still didn't work. In the end, the receptionist assured us that she will keep a lookout and ask us to continue with our plans while she waited for the engineer to come to repair the door. This will be undesirable for other guests who may just assume the auto lock is working. 2. No wine glasses. We made several requests for wine glasses but the receptionist said it was out of stock. Seriously, the hotel could have better gauge the demand and supply for wine glasses. 3. Garden. Pictures of the garden are a little deceiving. it is a meer small corridor that I don't think anyone wants to be in for too long.
