OK But No Comfort
No temperature controlling in the hotel or the capsules. I enjoyed the capsule other than the horrible heat issue in them. Extremely stuffy. My only other complaint is the bathroom. In the morning, you'll have to go to the bottom floor to share your mens room with all the men staying at the hotel. Get ready for showers with no stalls, and no towel racks. There is nothing you can do about privacy when you bathe. Its prison style showers. And there are lots of men here.

Good for solo travel
The hotel is easy to find and close to Omori station and walking distance to Omori Kaigan station. I didn't know that the shower is a open concept. The TV also provide a special TV channel for men. The staff are friendly and can speak simply English.

Good layover from Haneda Airport
I chose this because I needed a place to sleep for a few hours after arriving at Haneda Airport and Seaside Inn Omori was a short ride from the airport. No fuss checking in. You do have to leave most of your stuff in a locker that is just nice for a long-ish but not bulky backpack. I checked in past midnight so I had the public bath all to myself which was nice after a long flight. The capsule was a bit hot and stuffy when I first go into it (maybe also because I just had a hot bath), but it sort of got better after a while. Not noisy at all like some people who have stayed at capsules had mentioned.
