Severe Racism.
인종차별 쩔어요. 절대 이용마세요. The front desk woman is terribly uneducated. She is definitely a racist. She kept yelling at me whenever she talks - in the first place- and she did not want to listen me, so brought animal like conversation.. She also wanted me to await in different place before my turn, but didn't ask the same thing to the next one. However, in my turn, she just pointed me to do my stuff myself and she just started the next one's stuff. - Before me, she guided the former one but not me. I even didn't know where she pointed.- (This is not the whole story, there was more. Her every attitude contained dislikes. Even the next customers felt awkward about her attitude toward me.)-This happened in the morning- Also, she mocked at me with her colleagues, in the evening. I lived in Germany for a while, so there is no way that I could misunderstand her attitude. I cannot understand why I have to receive these kinds of expressions with payment. I strongly recommend all Asians not to use this hotel. Very uncomfortable and disappointing experience in Vienna.

Location & comfort
It is conveniently located right next to the main shopping street, and easily reachable by bus 13A from Vienna Central Station. They provide complimentary luggage storage, and even let me check-in earlier which was greatly appreciated after arriving on a night train. The single room was small but had a wash basin(hand soap provided). It would have been good to have a kettle and cup/s in the room as there was no kitchen available to use. The shared shower and toilet was a little old but generally clean(shower gel provided). The only con was getting a surprise at check-in, having to pay a tourist tax(cash only) much higher than what was stated on the booking site. This should be more clearly stated or updated. In general though, this was a good value budget hotel, great for exploring Vienna.

Bedbugs in the Time Out City Hotel Vienna
We stayed in the hotel for three nights in October 2017. After the second night we noticed the there were bedbugs in the room because we got the bedbug's bites all over our bodies. We told the hotel staff about this and it felt like they already knew about the problem. It seemed like they have had bedbugs in the rooms also before this. They apologized and changed our beds and sheets. They also took out the paintings that were on the walls. But with bedbugs it doesn't help. So beware of this hotel if you don't want to bring the bedbugs back home. Otherwise the hotel and the staff were nice and the 9 euro breakfast buffet was really good. Also the location near the Mariahilfer Strasse is very good.

Great service and location for a reasonable price
With just a long layover in Vienna, this looked to be on paper the perfect place to stay. It was within walking distance of the airport train station, the Museum Quarter and the Naschmarkt. Turns out it was indeed perfect for us. While the rooms are very basic, the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and everything was very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again as Vienna is lovely! Just a quick side note, we were there on a Saturday night, and the street was noisy with revelers until early morning, so consider bringing ear plugs.

Exceptional 10.0
I really liked this place. The location is fantastic with the museum quarter a couple minutes away. The front desk staff were really friendly and made me feel very welcome. The rooms are small but well organized. Not really anywhere to unpack your stuff like a dresser so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. I though the rooms were nice and very clean. The housekeeper from India was also very nice and friendly. The shared bathrooms were not a issue for me, never had to wait.
