VERY MISLEADING!!!
We booked this hotel in July of 2017 to stay over New Years 2018. We booked a deluxe Eiffel Tower suite and the pictures online and amenities information were very misleading!! When we checked in in the afternoon the front desk woman advised us it would be hard to find a place to eat in the surrounding area because service at the restaurants are usually postponed between 2-7pm. We decided to venture out anyways and found at least 4 restaurants within a mile radius with continuous service. Our room was VERY SMALL with no accessible outlets in the bathroom and our "view" of the Eiffel Tower (which is why we booked this particular room) was just the top half. We had to make our coffee by placing the maker on the floor and when we asked to borrow an adapter for our cell phones they tried to charge us (in the book in the room they said you could borrow an adapter for your stay and I did point that out). They advertise a restaurant - IT IS NOT. Basically a lounge with limited snacks and hours. We ended up buying snacks and drinks at a market nearby to keep in the room. There is also no place for your luggage or to unpack so be prepared to live out of your suitcase! The elevator was so small we could not ride together with our luggage of two suitcases and we ended up just using the spiral staircase for the rest of our visit. The rooms come with an actual key to open the door and every time you leave the hotel you have to leave the key.

Lovely boutique parisian hotel.
My husband and I arrived at the Hotel Eiffel Trocadero early due to our flight being in the AM, unfortunately they weren't able to accomodate us early, however they did take our luggage so we could then wander. Great location for the museums close by, the eiffel tower (of course) and a short work down to the river Seine. The hotel is on a slope, and to get to the river there are lots of steps involved, not greatly accessible for people who struggle walking. Upon returning to the hotel, our luggage had been taken to our rooms for us and we were given our key. We booked a Eiffel tower view room, the room was small but boutique. Bed very comfortable, well stocked minibar and robes supplied. The walls were slightly marked and dirty, the wall hangings and lampshades were crooked, some needing repair. Haridryer in bathroom, tea and coffee, however tea was lose with no tea strainer (?!) and no milk! Fantastic view of the Eiffel tower however!!! Staff all speak English which made our life easier, room was not automatically serviced, instead we were asked as we were leaving for the day if we wanted service (slightly awkward given how much emphasis is given to this hotel being green). You also have to hand in your key at reception whenever you leave. Very small lift, cramped bathrooms and showers, very little selection for room service (fruit platter, cheese and biscuits). No actual meals. Overall, I would give this hotel 3.7*.

Rooms are old fashion and hallways are very narrow
It was a good hotel and good location however i had a few issues with it: 1- On expedia it advertises that this room has a view of the EIFFEL TOWER. You can only see the tip of the tower. You cannot see the full tower as it is blocked by the Trocadero Museum. The view was very disappointing and below our expectation. Paid so much for this disappointing blocked view of the tower. 2- Room had dark BROWN wallpaper and dark brown wooden cupboards. Very old and scary vibe to the room. It was definitely NOT like the picture we saw on expedia. We were very happy to leave the room. 3- walls are thin and we were able to hear the couple in the room next door talking every day. The setting of the room (decor) was very unappealing for a honeymoon. I would not recommend to spend extra on the room with an "Eiffel view" as it is almost fully blocked by the building in front of the hotel. 4- hall way was so narrow that i felt very claustrophobic to walk through it to wait for the lifts. The cleaning staff would often leave their

Deluxe room with view
The room was very small, but it is close to the Eiffel Tower. The view isn’t great as it’s behind a building equally as high sadly, as the pictures on the website show. It’s a great location, a 10 min stroll from the tower, the main square with restaurants is only 5 minutes away. Negatives were just that it’s a lot smaller than expected, even the “deluxe” room doesn’t have any special extras like a free mini bar or champagne as pictured - EVERYTHING is extra even a bottle of water. Plus there is city tax to pay per night at the end but this minimal, but is per person. The room wasn’t always cleaned as thoroughly as expected. I don’t really know other than the whirlpool bath why it was described as luxury. Staff werr absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t fault them at all. Very very helpful

nice view, not really worth the money
Room very small but this is a European city so i guess par for the course. Queen sized bed is a bit miss-leading as much smaller than our bed at home which is queen sized. Room rather tired and needed money spent on it, bathroom was grimy with dirty grouting on tiles and stains on curtains and the sink not cleaned properly from previous visitors. Staff seemed friendly but a) accused us of not leaving a key with them when leaving the hotel only to find they had put it on the wrong hanger and also tried to send us to the opposite end of Paris to visit a Pattiserie which was literally 100 yards from their door when we asked directions. Overall, i would say the room was worth £50-60 without the view of the Eiffel tower, was it worth the extra including the view.... depends on how you value the view and convenience of location I guess. Personally for the price i expected as a minimum the cleanliness of a Travelodge / Premier Travel Inn and it was simply not there.
