When we arrived we were told we had been ‘upgraded’ to a unit due to an issue with our booking. We were given a gate key and told where to park. There was a car in our allocated parking bay, I spoke with the staff and was informed the car was the managers car. As I walked back to my car the manager came out, I thought he was moving the car for us. The manager asked how long I was staying, when I said one night he said “well you were supposed to be in our front rooms but we upgraded you so you can park out the front”. I agreed as I did not want to get in a disagreement and have to find something else for the night. The bathroom still had hair in the shower, the shower curtain was dirty and needed replacing, there was mould in the shower the bed legs were broken, we were worried the bed would break on us in the middle of the night. It was not an enjoyable experience, unfortunately we will not return.
