Very good traditional hotel of character, with fine library and ancient bar. Indoor and outdoor dining, and good choice of interesting food.. Good service with friendly staff. The water in the pools was not clear, and not nice for swimming.

Peaceful
What impressed us was that we did not hear the other guests even with the hotel full. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Combination of old and new was great. Nespresso coffee machine in room was cherry on the top.

Our Favorite Hotel
The Drostdy is our hotel of choice in Graaf-Reinet. We have never had a disappointing experience in the many times we have stayed here. This time the outstanding experience was our waitress during our evening meal. She was so professional, helpful, quick and polite.
