Fantastic
I cannot praise Lockhurst Hatch Farm too highly. Gill confirmed everything in advance by email, and was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Everything I needed was on hand and a log fire to boot, although the heating kept the whole place warm. The breakfast was scrumptious, with everything that could be asked for. I would absolutely stay here again and totally recommend Lockhurst Hatch Farm to all looking to stay here for either business of pleasure.

Friendly, peaceful, lovely stay
The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. The cake awaiting us on the first day was very tasty and a nice touch. Breakfast was good, with choices of full English or continental. The room was comfortable and we also had the use of the breakfast room complete with TV and DVDs. The bathroom was clean but showering was a bit tricky as it was a tap attachment and no curtain. The farm has pastureland in front of the house and we were lucky to see a deer and her 2 fawns. Situated well in the countryside (down a single track lane - there were a lot in the area), it was very peaceful. Well situated for at least a couple of pubs that did good food, and close to several National Trust properties but you do need transport. We had a lovely weekend.
