A Slice of Historic Mexico
Mansion Merida is like stepping into a slice of historic Mexico. The home is perfectly situated in the Centro, within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The owner, Raul, whose grandfather built the historic home, was very welcoming and kind. The dining, housekeeping, and reception staff were all very helpful and professional. We will definitely look to stay here again on a future visit.

My wife and i stayed here for three nights, and it was like a dream. The hotel itself is gorgeous and located just a block from Merida's main plaza on its own little picturesque square. Service was excellent; everyone made us feel at home. I must also mention breakfast in the courtyard - one of the best dining experiences we had in a city that takes great (and well-deserved) pride in its cuisine. The huevos mansión may be the best variation of eggs benedict I've ever had.

Every thing about hotel was a first class experience. The room furnishings, the meals and especially the caring and competent staff. Couldn’t have been treated better if we were royalty. The lobby, the atrium where breakfast was served and the pool area were beautiful and lavishly decorated with flowers and plants. The breakfast offerings were numerous and each was delicious. The property is old but they have maintained it very well so for me it was beautiful! I love that the hotel in the middle of Merida you have so many stores to shop at walking distance as well as restaurants. We were able to walk to the center park where people go to to take pictures. That was a huge plus for us because we were able to go site seeing and shop for our souvenirs without having to worry about transportation. The staff are so nice as well they truly go above and beyond for their clients. We are already planning to come back because there is so much we didn’t get a chance to see and because of our experience here we will be staying here once again.
