Not good value for money
this hotel is in a good location and our room was clean comfortable and well maintained. Our stay was marred by two issues. 1. Our ground floor room was poorly insulated from the floor above and every time some one in the room above moved the sounds echoed into our room. The noise from above continued until the early hours of the morning leading me to believe that the noise was coming from a number of upstairs rooms. 2. The hotel advertises free car parking. This consists of a 5 car lot at the rear door. Further carparking is available in an adjoining property but this was not explained to us until we complained that the other park was full. The staff in the hotel were cool and matter of fact. If you are going to stay in this hotel make sure you get a floor on the top floor, otherwise you may well have a sleepless night.

Everything was lovely but some help carrying heavy suitcase upstairs would have been appreciated since no lifts were available.

Great location across road from river trail
Friendly helpful staff. Great location across road from superb bakery and river trail. No problem storing our luggage for two weeks while we were on a canoe trip.

Just Being Honest
I found Whitehorse amazing and can't wait too go back but never too this hotel. Absolutely NO customer service or hospitality. I stayed for 4 nights and they wouldn't even clean my room once!!! They use Covid-19 as an excuse but I have stayed in 2 other hotels in the past 3 months and they all continue too clean the rooms. To save on laundry I am guessing they don't remove the duvet cover and wash it after each guest instead they put a flat sheet under the duvet and a flat sheet on top of the duvet. This is absolutely disgusting and totally unsanitary!!! Terrible management so stay elsewhere and enjoy Whitehorse.

Comfortable and Cozy
Everything was good, clean and comfortable. The only concern was due to location of the hotel on main street, I woke up at 3:00 am with a load noise of the City tucks cleaning the heavy snow which was last for an hour.

Hands down the best place to stay in Whitehorse!! Don’t judge it by the outside, it’s keeping the old historic look but inside its modern, crazy clean and awesome. You can tell the manager has a lot of pride in this establishment. The room was small but perfect for us. Very affordable! The checkout staff in the morning was soooooooo amazing as well. The best customer service I’ve received in a long time especially at 5 in the morning! So impressed! If we head through Whitehorse again there is no doubt we would only stay here. Close (walking distance) to Starbucks and Tim hortons. Beautiful view. Great location. 10/10 highly recommend

Great stay
It may look old on the outside but it’s brand new on the inside. The staff was extremely helpful. Super close to everything.
