Good value for the money paid!
For the price I paid, the hotel was good! I had booked a “single” room and although it was adequate, the room was very small! I should have booked a bigger room! The hotel is well located and handy to everything. Some of the staff spoke excellent English and some were ver hard to understand! The place was quiet, reasonably will maintained and fairly interestingly decorated. The staff was ve4y good! Marvin

Tiny uncomfortable room, no windows.
My room was tiny. It had a single bed touched one wall. There was about half a metre between the other side and the wall and about the same amount between the foot of the bed and the opposing wall. There is barely enough room to walk around the bed or put one’s suitcase on the floor. The room also had no windows at all. The hotel does not offer any room service, nor is there a concierge to assist with luggage, etc. while I was there, I only saw a single staff member st reception. My room did not have any towels, so I had to call reception to ask for them. There was construction work, loud drilling and banging noises, etc., until nearly midnight the evening that I stayed there and no warning or notice at all was given by the hotel. The location was ok, near enough to Clarke Quay and about a 10-15 minute walk to Marina Bay, but apart from that I would not recommend this hotel.

Flies in room
Upon entering my room, I immediately saw a small fly flying around the room. I’m not sure the exact type. I killed several and even brought some of the corpses to the girl working the front desk. She took a photo and said she’d “tell her boss”. Nothing was done about it. For the duration of my stay I continued to find flies in my room. Don’t know if other rooms had the same issue but Room 409 did. Having worked in a hotel, I found their lack of professionalism to be poor. No apology, offer to change rooms or even a discount and/or refund.

Exceptional 10.0
Unexpected bathroom but otherwise nice
The room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The room was a little smaller than I was expecting, though still bigger than a colleague's. The only thing I didn't like much was that the bathroom was just a couple of opaque glass walls separating the toilet/showers from the rest of the room. It was serviceable, but I was sharing the room with someone I wasn't comfortable with that way, and the bathroom being like that was unexpected. Other than that, the hotel is close to the MRT which is nice. They do have a laundry service, someone comes and picks up the laundry for you. I didn't get a chance to eat the breakfast provided, but if it's as nice as the rest of the hotel, then I definitely missed out. Overall 8/10

Very good 8.0
Good choice
The hotel is in a very good location. Close to Chinatown and city center. Close station is Clarke Quay. Didn't experience any problem with WI-FI also. The room is very very small, not enough space to move around or take out your belongings from the luggage. Good if you only want to use the hotel room to sleep. Staff is friendly but overall they should improve their customer service in terms of giving more accurate information to the guests considering they are for the first time in Singapore. Little details such as which exit take at the train station to reach so and so, that will improve their service and make the clients more happy.
