This “hotel” omits pictures of the outside and lobby for a reason. It is a motel in a sketchy part of town. When we arrived several rooms had doors propped open and men were walking around the outside without shirts on. I was traveling with my family and did not feel safe staying in the hotel. I called but when they called the hotel they were unwilling to waive the 24 hour cancellation policy. I went to the desk to ask about canceling as I was traveling with an 18 month old and said I don’t feel the hotel was family friendly. The girl at the desk assured me the hotel was safe and that I shouldn’t worry. She however was sitting behind bullet proof glass, which is also not shown in the photos. She said she would have considered waiving the policy if it was earlier in the day (so the 24 hours isn’t written in stone) but it was 7:00 so she would have to charge me for the night. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone and certainly not for a family. I was very disappointed with the “hotel” and I won’t be booking with either ever again.

FANTASTIC jetted tub!
The jetted tub rooms are incredible for a romantic night, as long as you don't mind occasionally partially hearing others running their jets or getting intimate (these rooms are next to each other, so take care if you're a very light sleeper). We got a non-smoking one and everything was very clean and comfortable. The climate control system was responsive and effective. The lamps are dimmable to set the mood however you like. We appreciated having a minifridge, although it was prone to condensation. I wouldn't put super sensitive food in, but it's fine for keeping drinks cold. There are lots of good food delivery options available online. Free wifi too (with multiple access points), but I didn't try it. The TV is just OK - there isn't much on cable, and the speakers aren't great. But the bath was the real star here. There is plenty of room for two people to stretch out, and a spacious ledge on the other side. The jets are great: some of them are strong and some of them are mild, you can sit where you prefer. There was never any issue with running out of hot water. My favorite part: it's surrounded by wall to ceiling mirrors. They were perfectly clear and the effect is way more luxurious than I expected at a motel. Especially if you have any waterproof lights you can bring to reflect from underneath, and the ledge is handy for that. There's also a huge ceiling mirror above the bed. Very fun :) Overall, the value was excellent for the price, and we'll definitely be back.

My first interaction with the motel staff was via Expedia and I was very impressed by how responsive they were. I wanted to change my room to a non-smoking room, as I made a mistake when I initially booked the room, and they were super accommodating to make that change for me. No issues when I arrived and the reservation was as according to how I booked it. The woman checking me in was super friendly. The one thing that I had an issue with was the noise, as the walls are very thin and you can hear people in neighboring rooms talking, taking a shower, etc. Once I turned the air/fan on in the room, it created good enough white noise to drown some of the sounds, so that was nice. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and thought that it was a good location.

It exceeded our expectation!
As my title, I was very pleased with our room and staff. We expected just a regular motel with minimum facility and cleanness, but when we entered the room, we were surprised with the quality of the room and decor. Everything was new and clean and modern in our room and bathroom, very comfortable and they also provided us with iron, iron board and hair dryer when we asked. One thing I can suggest the hotel owner to add to make this top notch is screens for windows. We un-intentionally left the bathroom window open and by the night time we were back, the bathroom was full of insects. We asked for insect spray but they didn't have any. So we had to spend half hour killing the mosquitoes and spiders.... Otherwise this motel was our best one we stayed over our trip! Thank you Auberge St.Jacques :)

Fair 4.0
I have to start by saying this hotel’s staff were lovely and kind enough to let us check in early. Both women who checked us in and out were friendly and smiling and very helpful. The room was newly renovated and very clean - my boyfriend is a germaphobe and I’m a nurse so we have pretty high standards. Very reasonably priced and loved that it had free parking. Unfortunately this motel was pretty out of the way for our event so we didn’t like having to try to figure out public transit with all the stops moving because of construction. The biggest reason for my negative rating is the bed. The bed sticks out in the room like a sore thumb. My boyfriend and I stubbed our toes and struck our shins multiple times on the corners of the bed. The mattress was one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve slept on in my life. Neither of us got much sleep before a 13 hour drive back home which did not make for a good day. Change the bed and I’d be back
