The hotel room was wonderful. Too huge beds with amazing pillows. The greatest thing was the railway Roundhouse and the ghost town, it is far more detailed than Barkerville. Lots of work by the original owners. A gem in the middle of a mountain pass.

Room was clean, although very warm when we arrived. Bed comfy. Restaurant had limited hours but good food, good service and good prices. The hotel as well as the grounds however are in quite a bit of disrepair which is unfortunate. The ghost town was great, and admission was 1/2 price for hotel guests

The staff was very nice. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake. The honour system kayak rentals was convenient. The ghost town next door was super creepy in a good, fun way. The property definitely has lots of rustic charm. It would have been nice to see the gardens taken better care of.
