Comfortable and affordable hotel
This was a lovely little hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy. This hotel is close walking distance to lots of attractions and great restaurants.

great option in a safe location
I really enjoyed Plaza Revolution Hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The only complaint I had was that the walls were paper thin. When I stayed there was a baby in a room across the way that was crying every minute that it was awake (literally). So if you are sensitive to noise this might not be the place for you.

Worst sleep I have ever gotten in a hotel
Our stay started out well enough. Check in was seamless and quick, and staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, we discovered rather quickly that the location of our room relative to the router meant that we wouldn't get a drop of Wifi, so we had to move. Given that we are tourists without an international phone plan, we depend on wifi to map out our day and get around. The only available rooms with working internet were ones with twin beds, so I had to go from a king to two twin beds, which left me extremely dissatisfied. To add insult to injury, we were moved from the back of the hotel to a room right on the street, so we heard constant honking. One of the three nights we stayed there, a car alarm on the street went off and kept us up all night. The next day, construction workers started the jackhammer up at 5 am and we were also unable to sleep. 2 of the 3 nights we spent in this hotel were ultimately restless and we woke up each morning exhausted. Additionally, the maids kept coming to clean our room at 9 am. I'm not sure if this is standard in Mexico City, but we were always still sleeping at 9 am (or rather, attempting to) and it was extremely disruptive. I would've gladly paid double to have stayed somewhere where I could've gotten a restful night's sleep and working wifi. I will say that the hotel is in a great location and you can walk to most places, but given the number of available options in Mexico City, I would definitely choose any other hotel but this one.

Perfect Stay for a Perfect Vacation in Mexico City
Check-in was a breeze, hotel staff very friendly and eager to help, they have a full-time cab service stationed outside the hotel and can arrange trips and sightseeing. We used them the first day we were there as our private guide service didn't start until the next day. Their driver was good and informative and looked out for us. Our room was cleaned daily and housekeeping was very good. The bed was too hard for me but my mother thought it was perfect. The TV offered a lot of channels, all but one were in Spanish, the one English one was actually in English with Spanish sub-titles. There is no fridge in the room but they let you use theirs if you ask. The restaurant was ok, I think they get their food from somewhere else and bring it back to you....it took forever to get 4 tacos and when I got up to check with the waiter, I saw some guy running in the hotel with a bag of food...wahalah, two seconds later it was on our plate...LOL Water pressure was good and we always had hot water, I didn't hear my neighbors but every once-in-awhile could hear walking above. The noise from the street didn't bother us at all, but then, my mother likes to sleep with the TV on so maybe that's why. The hotel smells wonderful, I forgot to ask what they use. I will defiantly stay here again. I loved the location and the hotel

cute décor, extra firm bed, you feel that you took a beating at night, once you wake up. room smells like cigarette smoke, (coming from a tiny court yard outside the window, and like urine (coming from the bathroom. breakfast is great, good location, great staff. great décor for the price.
