8/10 Very good
25 June 2022
Stayed for four days in June. The good: The staff were amazing. The bell staff who managed the arriving/departung guests always greeted me by name as we walked by. How amazing is that?! The gentleman who checked us in asked if we were celebrating anything special (we were celebrating my husbands birthday) when we were checking and offered to upgrade our room at no charge. There were plenty of places to sit and have a drink throughout the resort. Room was large and clean.
The bad:We found the food to be very inconsistent, except the breakfast buffet, which was always great. Lunch..the only place to have lunch was at the buffet. And it was terrible both times. We were told that lunch was also served at the Rodeo Grill but it was never open when we went there. We did see a sign that said it served pastries and sandwiches....which are snacks, not lunch, in my opinion. We ate one dinner at the Rodeo Grill, it was ok. Two dinners at the Italian restaurant. The 1st dinner was great but the 2nd was not so much. The service was slow and unattentive. And our orders were wrong. At that point we just picked what we found tollerable and left the rest.
The pool was nice, but got very loud and busy. It'd be nice to have another pool for folks that dont want to worry about getting hit by a vollyball or have someone jumping around yelling constantly. There is another pool for the upgraded privilege rooms, but we were not in that group.
Overall it was a nice resort for the price we paid.
