Disappointed in condition of hotel.... Definitely could use a coat of paint.... Location was a plus. Breakfast was a nice surprise w/made to order choices!

The innkeeper was wonderfully attentive and pleasant person. Admittedly, we booked last minute and got one of the smallest rooms in the place that was quite cramped. The innkeeper was honest and let us know about this before we paid. It was a quaint, cute place overall. The teenage boys who serve breakfast didn't really seem to know what they were doing although friendly and nice. Our breakfast came out cold and service was lurchy. The location of this place I thought was wonderful. Setback on a quiet street but still very close to town.

B&B style
This property was a perfect spot to go along with the historical setting. Room was unique and quaint and decorated to the era. Yet all the modern amenities. The people that run this place were so kind, sweet and helpful.

Too quaint for comfort
Not good. Stayed in first officer's room. Floor boards sagged significantly in the middle of the room. Commode tank ran all night. Window AC unit was noisy. CRT TV=Out-dated. Bedding was worn/pilled/threadbare in some places and needed replaced. Decor looked like it was for a 10 year old little boy. Building was probably build in the early 1800's. I have my doubts about the structural stability of some parts. I felt unsafe, and did not sleep well as a result.
