Mildew smell
The apartment was dusty/dirty and extremely outdated. The furniture is old and uncomfortable, and the bathrooms have a weird mildew smell. The only thing I liked about this place was the location.

Great central location for: shopping, theatre, public transport including free cultural loop bus, restrauants and convention centre. 1 bedroon unit was very good with all amenities including free carpark. Unfortunately we didn't receive the housekeeping service as nominated. Receiving the key and contact with agent was very good. Woudl definately stay again.

Very clean, great location, fast response to requests. Unfortunately, although the fan above the gas top stove was extremely loud while switched on, it had little effect in expelling steam or smoke. But this issue is something we’ve experienced in other apartments in this location so the problem is not exclusive to this property. Overall, a great experience, once again.

Good location, could be cleaner
Good experience being checked in. Facilities are fine, but it does need a bit of attention. Went to do laundry, washing machine flashed saying it hadn't been cleaned for at least 100 washes, so I ran the machine wash cycle (3 hours) before using it. Sat on the sofa, and there were biscuit crumbs in the indents in the leather and just under the back cushion there were plenty of crumbs. I picked up something from the floor, found a dried up olive under the sofa and plenty of crumbs. Whoever vacuumed it didn't bother to vacuum under the furniture or clean the furniture. I went to the vacuum and could see why, no one had emptied the vacuum. It was packed full of compacted dust and fluff (see pictures), so after removing all that, I vacuumed. Bed is a bit tired (soft and bouncy), and while cooking facilities are fine, there is a lack of some simple provisions like salt and pepper (which no one wants to buy for a stay of a week). A few more rubbish bags (again I don't want to have to buy a pack of 20 for a week) would have been appreciated too. It's a great location, very convenient, reasonably quiet (as long as nobody talks loudly at 1am outside the door). Wifi was fine (15Mb speed) without limits on devices to be connected. Only Free to Air TV which is ok. I'd stay again, but only if it was a lot cleaner.
