Great service & location, but disappointing room
Great service and great location, but disappointing room. Everybody at the hotel were nice both during our stay and before (when we communicated via email). Then hotel is in the less touristy part of marais with great restaurants around every corner. We would not describe it as a boutique hotel - there attention to detail and design elements were under whelming. Unfortunately the room was a bit run down with a huge chip in the mirror and many unfortunate fixes made in the bathroom. the towel rack and toilet paper holder were quite wobbly etc. When it comes the the attention to detail there were many elements that did not quite work, eg - how strange it might sound it was very difficult to put the key in the door from the outside of the room. - the towels (when hung on the rack) ended up touching the garbage bin - the small corridor between kitchen and bedroom was so low that I had to crouch quite a bit Last but not least the bedroom had black carpet, black walls and a black ceiling. It is a personal preference, but combined with only looking into an app 10 square metre internal court yard, it felt quite claustrophobic. Long story short: the hotel is nice and clean and in a great location, but not worth the money. And maybe we were just unlocky with the room - so to be sure: avoid room number 12.

Interesting Hotel in the Marais district
Stayed here for a 3 night vacation in Paris. This is a very peculiar hotel, although it worked out fine for us. If you book here, you need to understand that this is not your usual commercial-class hotel, although we had no significant problems or complaints, just sort of surprised when we saw the property. The rooms are extremely small- a 20 square meter suite means that, when divided up amongst the bedroom, sitting room and bathroom, each area is tiny. There is only daytime staffing at the front desk, but the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It has the tiniest elevator I have ever seen- just enough room for 2 normal-sized adults. Obese guests should plan on using the stairs. The entrance is not easily identified, but it faces a quiet side street and we slept quite well in the comfortable bed. Cleanliness was outstanding. WiFi worked well. Would consider staying here again, now that we know what to expect.

Love it, strongly recommend
Amazing super laidback hotel, in the coolest and local neighborhood, outside the mainstream circuit. Really clean, modern and confortable. The highlights were the bed, which was so cozy that made it hard to wake early in the morning, and also the amazing shower, essential after walking and wandering around Paris all day. I'd also like to highlight a detail, the hairdryer, which was strong and efficient just like the one i have home and as long haired woman, this is SO hard to find in regular hotels. The staff was also great, really polite and friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel for people traveling on their own, because of the location (local and near metros), and it gives you the freedom to do what you want at anytime. Especially the suite, that has a small kitchen and refrigerator in it.

Very good 8.0
Hotel is tucked in an alley on the edge of the les Marais district. It’s a few blocks walk to the busy Place de la République in one direction, and the Centre George Pompidou in the other. The room and bathroom were clean, but extremely small. The elevator felt like a coffin and if you took the spiral stairs instead, the carpet had a strange geometric pattern that made it difficult to tell where one step ended and the next began. Don’t plan on sleeping in, because the hotel is right across the street from an elementary school. I found the kids’ laughter and excitement in the playground charming, but some will find it annoying. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, but there’s no one there after 6pm.

Charming Hotel - Great Location!
This is such a charming hotel. I felt as though I had my own apartment in Paris and was able to experience it as though I was a local resident. The location was great - within walking distance to a metro station, good restaurants and sightseeing locales. The room was great with nice linens, nice amenities and Nespresso machines. They also provided a cell phone to use while staying at the hotel. Pascaline and her staff were amazing. They were so accommodating and helpful. I almost hate to reveal this secret gem, but highly recommend staying here.
