Pity was only a one night stay but was a very enjoyable one at that. We checked in late around 6:30pm with no hassles at all! Parking limited and narrow but we found the last parking spot so, winning! Only thing is, if driving it’s one way in only from Gregory Terrace and exit out on to Diggles Cl. A bit of a steep and narrow exit so if your car is too low, well, might be worth assessing first and park on road and side streets before driving in as you can’t back out. Other than that, loved the place. That old feel with pictures of how the building was first built in the 18th or 19th century?, maybe?, sorry

Great Victorian home with the best collection of historical photos. Very reasonably priced close to the show grounds and a short walk to Fortitude Valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

You get what you pay for. Good location to the valley and Royal Brisbane. Take your own pillow and sheets.

2/10 Poor

The room stunk like rotten socks. It was so bad that I asked for another room. None were "available." Staff did give me air freshener which was helpful, but not much. I had to stomp on a dozen cockroaches in my room. When I showered in the shared shower, the sliding door of the tiny bathroom fell off the rails and it was very hard to open it and get out. I won't be back.
