"Renovated hotel, still a few kinks to sort out"
This is the old Kowloon Hotel and most taxi drivers know it by that name. It's only a 10 min ride from KL Sentral. This is an Indian neighborhood with a fabric/silk market. The location is ok, 5 min walk from Sogo and other shopping malls and food. It's also a 10 min taxi ride from Suria KLCC and just a 5 min walk from Bandaraya Station of RapidKL. The hotel is renovating floor by floor, which leaves a weird situation, where floors 3, 4, 5 are not ready yet and blocked. Floor 1 (where the Reception is) has window-less rooms. I was upgraded to Floor 8, since I had paid for a window room any way. Room was clean, bed was ok, but the shower stall in the bathroom had only a rain-shower installed (with barely adequate pressure), without a shower hose! Washing your hair well will be a struggle. Also the old windows are single pane and let all the noise in. The biggest drawback at the hotel: the wi-fi. On my last day there it was completely absent. They had problems with their router. Even at the lobby, 20 feet from the router, I could not get a connection. They were nice though to let me use the computer at the business center.

"My First TIme"
Location, not bad. It was not far from the PETRONAS Towers. I did not like the surroundings. We took a walk at around 11:00 PM to look for a place to eat. The area was so quiet, There were more cockroaches in the street than people. The room size was goon enough, but no chair, no soap. Bed linen was dirty. My wife had to ask for a replacement. Room can definitely be cleaner. The lady at the front desk was pleasant, ready & willing to serve. This was our first time to stay in such a hotel. We'll try to look for something better the next time.

"Ideal place for shopaholics"
Its a very strategic & ideal place for shopaholics. If you planning to shop like crazy in Jalan TAR, Masjid Jamek and SOGO, this is the best place to stay. I found out that the normal rate is expensive, but booking with hotels.com i can get much much more cheaper price. I get double bed room as the twin was not available, So i'm staying in with 3 adults and an infant. The room is surprisingly big and very comfortable, with windows, tv and hot water. Unfortunately the tv channel provided not that interesting. I hope Hotels.com giving me lots and lots of best deals in future as i will definitely book with you again. Sayonara ~

"Don't waste your money"

Stayed here for one night after booking through booking.com. Apparently this hotel is a partner of Zen Rooms Premium, which is what we had booked online. We received a little Zen Rooms branded pouch with some toiletries and checked into our windowless room. The room was not that clean, the bedding had stains and there was hair on the bathroom floor. Also, you could tell that the sink hadn't been cleaned as there aas toothpaste smeared all over. The shower had no curtain or glass divided as advertised in the photos online. Overall, very disappointed with this place. It's a rather dingy place that could use some more taking care of. Also, the breakfast was pretty bad. They had watermelon and stale, white bread with some questionable spreads and savory food. Don't waste your money on this place, there's better hotels to stay in KL!

"One night stay"

I only stay for one night. The staff is helpfull, room is clean, no bathtub so it consider overprice. Near central market and mosque those are important for tourist. They didn't serve breakfast but many available bfast nearby (nasi lemak).

Average hotel, clean room but located in busy area in Kuala Lumpur. I stayed twice, once during Depavali and the other one during usual day (very noise and cannot sleep). The area is quite good for food and bargain shopping. The staff are friendly. Only one lift available but sometimes not working. Its better to request not far floor in case the lift is not working or long queue and request room not facing to main road.

"Perfect for local shoppers"
16/12/2015 Aaron B Mukah, Malaysia
Located at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, although K Hotel isn't really located in the tourist hotspot of Kuala Lumpur, it is perfect for local travellers (Malaysians) seeking an affordable place to stay in Kuala Lumpur. The room was very clean and modern (we were given a room facing the road, with windows). Perfect for shoppers, the hotel is a 3-minute walk from SOGO and the Bandaraya LRT station (excellent access to anywhere in KL). Across the river (5-6min walk) is the Bank Negara KTM station. Just downstairs you have the entire stretch of road home to numerous shops selling clothing, textiles etc.

You will heard of noise during day time since the location of this hotel is just next to Muaz Emporium Textile. The location is very good for those who want to do textile shopping but it's hard to find a good restaurant especially during night time. The receptionist was quite fast during check in and check out.

K hotel is ideally situated for foreigners who come to KL for holidays. Though It is a bit far from the airport yet it is very close to many places of interest, restaurants, railway station, taxi stand, commercial complexes. Within some minutes walk one is in contact with all types of services. Sogo is a commercial complex where one can spend whole day and where shopping is pleasant. Good food court.
