Hibiscus Cottages

Nice place to stay if you are on a tighter budget. Breakfast is definitely a big hit - the food is freshly cooked and the views from the rooftop terrace are stunning! The last few days of the stay were a little bit noisy, but I guess it depends on other guests and how many children they bring with them :)

Great location direct in the city. We had Delux room on second floor with great view from terrace over the roofs and small inner garden. Our room was clean and cozy. Bathroom had separate shower and big bathtub. Friendly stuff cleaned room daily and prepared fantastic breakfast on the roof terrace. We can absolutely recommend this hotel if you stay in Ubud.

Excellent stay while in Ubud. I stayed in the superior deluxe cottage with excellent views and it’s own balcony outside the door. Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating, providing options for tours or scooter rental. Breakfast everyday made-to-order from a small menu, was delicious. It should be noted that the hotel is a short walk (2 minutes) from the main road, as such cars/taxis cannot pull up directly to its entrance.

The property was beautiful! Located perfectly just off the beaten path. You had quiet and privacy, but could still walk everywhere. The staff were so nice and very accommodating helping me with everything i needed. I also had my favorite meal made for breakfast. A Indonesian green pancake stuffed with pinapple, coconut, sugar and cinnamon. It was amazing!

Best place I stayed in Bali. Staff friendly and always there to help. Free breakfast with a menu was amazing. Booking error on my last night, so was upgraded to better room. Will definitely be staying again when I'm back.

Property as per local architecture. Homely feeling. Local decor. Marvellous view & sunlight from balcony. Friendly, helpful & hospitable staff. Excellent location. Quiet yet close to main street. Suggested areas of improvement. Provision of hot water tea coffee in private balcony since senior citizen may not be able to climb stairs. A intercom to connect to the manager's desk in case of emergency.

Love the uniqueness of this property. We knew we would have to walk to get here so that didn't bother us, it was part of the adventure and very worth it. The cottages were charming and traditional. The breakfast balcony was amazing...loved looking over the town. Everyone was very friendly and it felt very safe. Breakfast was DELICIOUS.

Authentic Balinese. Good food in restaurant, very reasonable prices. Cloce to beach and shopping.
