Value for money in unique setting.
Very comfortable and unique. Good breakfast to start the day with all you need. A little far from shops and restaurants so allow time to walk or take a taxi.

Comfortable room but carpet had been cleaned around the bed and was still very damp underfoot and pungent on check in and the following day which made the room smell quite unpleasant. Staff were notified and drying of the carpet attended to. Breakfast was self serve and extremely generous with lots to choose from in the dining room , which had a lovely view out to the garden.

Great stay, perfect for couples and friends.
We loved our stay at The Craigmyle! Loved the history, the subtle modern updates that were made but also how they kept still so much of the original or old details that I loved so much when booking and viewing photos. The service and staff were great and nice and loved to read about the history of it. I would recommend and stay again or even book nights for family members for a fun weekend trip!

Craigmyle an historic Victoria gem
I love this little gem. There are are quite a few stairs. The atmosphere is tranquil. It is a residential area and you have to find street parking so you may have to walk a bit. The beds are comfortable and the decor is thoughtful and authentic ... each suite is unique and has its share of antiques. no TVs.. typically you check yourself in so make note of the code emailed to you. ... I have stayed there several times and found it very restful. History buffs will appreciate the furnishings and architecture ... also it housed doctors who took care of wounded soldiers in the wake of World War 1 at the neighbouring Craigdarroch Castle so that’s very fascinating.

Beds should be replaced please.
Great location, attractive decor, but the most important part is the BED, it was terrible, old and a piece of foam on top of the mattress. For a lovely BnB this is not fine. We had to asked to be moved to another bedroom. Bed adequate not great. Excellent service and breakfast.
