Hôtel Mistral

Had a great 2 night stay recently. Originally chose Hotel Mistral because it was convenient to Montparnasse Station for our trip from Bordeaux and another area of Paris to explore. We were very pleasantly delighted at our warm welcome from Romain at check in. He couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. Thank you. Our room, although small was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The refrigerator was a plus. We were on the fifth floor but there was a lift. The small courtyard garden was also a pleasent place to relax with a coffee or drink. We enjoyed exploring the local sites, including Montparnasse Tower with great views of Paris, Catacombs, Cemetery, Luxembourg Gardens and the lively area of Rue Daguerre. It was also a short walk to RER station Denfert-Rochereau to catch train to CDG airport. Would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Mistral when visiting Paris.

Compact, but very well arranged. Great location. Staff quite friendly and accommodating . Would stay here again!

Helpful and friendly staff. Clean. But the room size is too small for two with two baggages.

My husband and I loved our stay! The location was close to a train station and in a safe location. We were within walking distance to the catacombs. The rooms are smaller than the “American standard” but we expected this from Paris and didn’t mind. The other accommodations are so good!! Breakfast was delicious every morning. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They even have a cute little patio where we enjoyed a bottle of wine together after a long day of sightseeing. We could not have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay again!

The room was small but fine, as was the bathroom. The service from the front desk was great. The only problem, and it's a big one, is that the subway (Metro) passes very near (or beneath) the hotel, so every 5 - 10 minutes from around 6 am through Midnight you can feel the vibration right through the mattress. Ear plugs and noise reduction devices don't work, because it is the vibration and not the noise that is the problem. So we didn't get 1 good night's sleep during our entire stay.
