Best hotel in front of the pyramids
The guesthouse is right in front of Sphinx and pyramids! Best location. The sound and light show is seen and heard perfectly from the terrace rooftop. Breakfast plentiful. Owners and staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Would absolutely recommend a stay here and we will return

Great views of the Sphinx!
Great place to stay for a few nights. Located in a 'local' area, so don't expect much in terms of night life by Western standards. Few simple places to eat around; lots of soldiers and security as it is located near pyramids. The window of hotel room opened out to a direct 100m (300ft) view of the Sphinx which is the hotel's main attraction. It would be to your advantage to have visa service and transport pre-booked from the hotel as some taxi drivers have trouble finding the way to this part of Giza. Also the hotel arranges tours which are a plus.

A must in Cairo but not for more than 1or 2 nights
The location is amazing because of the view, but make sure that you are in a room facing the pyramids. The rooms facing the other side are just terrible (like prison). The owner can help you to get a taxi for one day and with other things. Amazing view from the terrace. But very bad part of Cairo (real slums - dirty and dangerous) - do not leave your guest house after sunset, have picknick on the terrace and watch the light and sound show.

Best Location
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were able to wake up to a view of the Pyramids and the Sphinx. At night, we watched the light show from the rooftop. I arranged all of our trips through them. We had our own vehicle and tour guide. We stayed during the winter and the heating worked just fine. However, I don't think the Guest House is for everyone; it depends on the type of traveler. If you're used to staying at hotels in major modern cities and aren't familiar with the country, then you may have a hard time adjusting (i.e. strong camel/horse smells). If you're a more rustic traveler, then you probably won't have too hard a time of adjusting. Breakfast was included. They even packed our breakfast for an early morning trip. There are a KFC, Pizza Hut, and a couple other restaurants within walking distance. The staff is really nice and accommodating. There is free wi-fi (spotty at times) and a TV.
