Friendly staff
The service was good, front office staff was awesome very friendly and courteous.. it was a bit loud outside vendors come to sell in the corner and you could hear them almost in your ear was hard to sleep. Area was good close to downtown, shops.. the picture of the Dining tables is to a restaurant next door does not belong to the hotel..

Clean and comfortable family room
The hotel was in a great location. It was clean and quiet - we were only there for one night but it was a Friday night and we did not hear much noise at all. The beds were very comfortable. Would stay again - price was right.

Good for the price
This hotel is a little older but still nice. The family room we booked was smaller than shown in the photo, the double bed and bunk bed were all together in one room instead of the L-shape I had expected, but we were ok. The water pressure and hot water were good in the bathroom but we only had 3 towels for 4 people. The pillows were lumpy and beds a little hard. Overall it wasn't bad, but I've stayed in more comfortable places. There is water and snacks for purchase at the desk downstairs but we did not see the tables that were pictured and there is no restaurant onsite. The location is about a block from what I was comfortable walking in, so we had to walk through a sketchy area past homeless people sleeping in doorways for that first block, but after that it was less intimidating. I would not walk around the area after dark. The zocalo is 3 blocks away and there are restaurants nearby.

You get what you pay for, but it’s nice.
The hotel itself is nice and the staff was very friendly and always ready to offer their help. The room was tiny and the bed was very uncomfortable. There was a sewer type smell in the room but not in other areas of the hotel. The best part of the hotel was the upper deck patio with views to some areas of downtown. Unlike the description, there is no breakfast butvthey do offer a 10% discount to a near by restaurant close by. The area feels very sketchy but there is a lot of police so you feel safe. At night it gets a bit weird in some areas but in general you can walk around the area and will be fine. If you are planning to sight see and only use the hotel to store your luggage, spend the night, and take a shower then you should be fine. For the price, you can’t really ask for any more than what you get. There is tons of uber drivers that can pick you up and drop you off right at the door so you can feel safe.

Loud at night
The hotel is located in a very busy área (during the day), at night is lonely and kind of dark around. The hotel is nice and I liked the condition of the building. My room was small but just what I needed for myself. I read reviews before choosing this hotel that it was very noisy due to the noise of doors closing in nearby rooms. They were right, you could hear all doors slamming day and night. The loud noises were worse at night. My first night I was kind of cold. The next morning I asked the maid to please get me an extra blanket, she got me the best blanket, thick and so comfy!!! I was not cold the other nights. Early in the morning you do not find anything opened around the hotel, but after 9am you can find street vendors selling the best breakfast items and very cheap. I would recommend this hotel if you do not plan on spending a lot of time in the room. The tv channels were boring, they only had very few and most of them were local news.
