Its probably one of the most beautiful places to visit. We stayed at a barrel room. It is cozy, but a cool experience for 1 night. It could have been a 10/10 hotel if it didn't feel like you have to extra for EVERYTHING. The barrel was the most expensive room anyway. Property is really spectacular. If you are visiting for the wine tasting, you will have an amazing time. If you are staying at the hotel and will be eating at the restaurant, please be aware of the following: - there are 3 sections, newly built, older section and the barrel rooms. - I and a friend of mine booked a room in the new section and it was such an unpleasant experience. Room comes with 2 twin beds which we separated apart. Beds are really tiny and nothing to compare with American size double or queen beds in hotel rooms. - Our room had a glass door to the bathroom which provided zero privacy. If you are with a friend or a partner with whom you are uncomfortable hearing or seeing what is going on in the bathroom or the shower it will make your stay extremely unpleasant. - Restaurant is overpriced for the quality of dishes you get. Not worth the money. If you have a car, drive into town and have a great meal for a fraction of the price.

A winery that doubles as a wonderfully beautiful and peaceful resort with stunning vistas, a friendly staff, and exceptional dining (even in the poolside bar/cafe). The complimentary bottle of port offered in the room was especially thoughtful. The only downsides was for us was in the tasteful, contemporary designed room. It seemed designed more for beauty than for comfort or convenience. The parquet floors are gorgeous, but the wood was popping up throughout, so we kept painfully stubbing our toes and tripping (particularly coming out of the shower). And large room just for the toilet (water closet?) is has a floor-to-cieling, clear glass door -- so there is absolutely no privacy whatsoever for whomever is inside. The glass should be frosted at the very least. It makes no sense and is quite awkward & bizarre.
