Not Marriot standards
The location is amazing. Right on the sand. Two Chairs and umbrellas for free on the clean beach. The room & hallway carpet are disgustingly dirty and very old. The towels are so worn out. The pool is small and old but heated. No room service due to Covid. The valet was the worst thing about my stay. It is dysfunctional. It took forever to get my car. It is $30 per day plus tips. There would be at least three other guests waiting in line to get there car. There is plenty of parking so why can’t I just park my own car. It is the worst idea for the guests but lucrative for the hotel. Remember ocean view doesn’t mean ocean front.

One of two elevators was broken, the sliding glass door that leads to the balcony is incredibly difficult to open.

VERY CONFORTABLE HOTEL BUT !!
IT WAS GOOD. VERY CLEAN AND FRIENDLY STAFF, BUT TWO THINGS THAT WE DON'T LIKE : I PAID EXTRA FOR A ROOM THAT PROVIDE FREE BREAKFAST.BUT SINCE WE TRY TO MANTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE WE PREFER TO EAT IN THE ROOM THEY TELL US THAT WE HAVE TO PAY ONLY $5 EXTRA FOR THIS SERVICE AND WE ACCEPTED THIS EXTRA PRICE, BUT LATER THEY CHARGE US FOR THE TWO DAYS BREAKFAST SO I PAY EXTRA FOR NOTHING !!!!... PLUS I NOTICE THAT SOMEONE IN THE VALET PARKING USED OUR CAR .... WE NEVER GO TO THE BEACH DURING OUR STAY BUT OUR CAR WAS DIRTY WITH SAND INSIDE ...OUR QUESTION WAS HOW ITS POSIBLE ?

The hotel is great and the concierge James made this trip extra special. He was super nice and attentive. He my baby some seashells and a small gift. She loves it. Cleaning was amazing. Two heated pools and a nice restaurant by the pool to order food and drinks. Great Property.

Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I had our anniversary getaway here it was fantastic. The King Room with the balcony facing the beach was an ABSOLUTE DREAM. The gentleman, Diego, who took care of us at the front desk was awesome. We did come at the very end of Tropical Storm Eta and we noticed as we got to our room, there was a slight wet smell coming from the carpet. We figured the room got rained out a little. My husband called the front desk and got Head Of Housekeeping, Tahaina, right away. She took care of the problem quickly and was very pleasant and professional. In fact, everyone there was very attentive and kind. One thing that seemed to be a headache for my husband and I was Valet Parking. Between the daily fees we were paying plus an expectation of tip every single time we went in and out was a little much for us. So my advice: Try to stay in close proximity in the area or try to limit your coming and going. Overall, our experience was FANTASTIC and we would definitely consider coming back again despite the one headache.

Very good
Not exactly what i paid for...
Didn't get a king size bed or an ocean view. It was more of a partial ocean view. But the staff and the breakfast were fantastic.

Poor
Bad hotel lot of hidden fees
We had a blackout no backup generator or backup generator did not kick in to turn the light back on in my room. Diego the manager promise me a refund for that stay via Alberto. When it’s time to reimburse me. They returned only 20 dollars an insult. I called Diego left a message never call back never apologize.

On the beach
Room was great! Ocean front with GIANT balcony. The bed was hard and we took ibuprofen every morning for a back ache, but otherwise wonderful stay.

Hotel is in decent condition for an older property. My biggest grievance was lack of facemask enforcement by staff. I would say 50% of guests did not wear their masks in common areas.
