Fragrance Hotel - Classic

The hotel was not nice at all and nor was the staff. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The place is Very small. From the reception area, to the halls to the rooms. The total size of the room was 8x8. You walked in the door and the bed was right there. The shower, sink and closet are in the same small area so when you take a shower the toilet paper, toilet and sink get wet because it's all inside of the shower, I kid you not. They didn't even have wash clothes and they leave your small dry towels on the bed because the bathroom is soo small. We pulled back the covers on the bed, and there were strands of hair in the bed, it grossed me out! We checked in at 2 pm, and checked out at 10 pm, the same day.

We have stayed at the Fragrance hotels before..........This location is nice, clean, and a great food court directly across the the street. Although not close to the MRT, one short bus ride on the #21 or #131 bus puts you at the Novena MRT and Square 2 shopping complex, also the Medical centers. Room was nice a clean, bed comfortable, shower hot, good window exposure and excellent wfyi. Air con was fine. No complaints and the staff were all very helpful. So it is not the Fullerton or the Sands, but if your looking for budget accommodations in Singapore, I would recommend it. Good for Senior, couples, short stays or younger business people. Not really a kids type hotel.

as a budget hotel, the facilities are not bad. don't expect much- especially the space. but if you want something on the lower end, this hotel is not bad. it is about a 15 minutes walk to Novena Station MRT. just consider that if you plan on leaving the hotel in the middle of the day

Typical business hote! My room is a little bit small, but very clean and comfortable. Near hotel, there is a food court, where I enjoyed dinner. No close subway, so I need to take a subway and a bus from the airport.

Very basic hotel. Suitable for short stay if on a budget. Covered by bus route but nearest mrt about 20 mins walk away in Novena. Lots of eating outlets nearby. Room clean, but small and very basic. Walls very thin and can hear conversation from next door clearly. Friendly and helpful staff.
