Exceptional 10.0
Hotel is great, I probably wouldn't go back to KL
-(For the solo traveler) Hotel gym is huge with many machines and open 24 hours. There is a rooftop pool open till 10pm but I didn't take the time to use it. I had an early morning check-in with no issues and was able to get a room without having to wait 4 hours (very grateful for that!). The little interaction I had with the staff were all pleasant but I was only there for 36 hours so I was in and out exploring the area. -As for the room, it was huge. I didn't realize it would be similar to an extended stay hotel. It has a small dining/kitchen area as you enter and the best part for me was the washer/dryer (they even provided detergent as I was worried I was about to have to go to a 7-11 and differentiate between dishwashing soup and detergent - yes, I have had that problem before). Oh and the washer/dryer is the euro/asian kind, it takes forever to try because it's ventless but it does do the job, just don't do laundry a couple hours before you leave. The drain in the shower was somewhat a little clogged or just slow, therefore the water would occasionally rise above the beveled edge. -Location was kind of a bummer for me. The hotel is located at the end of this small street and about 10-15 minute walk from the nearest public transportation. They recommend getting a taxi from KL Sentral upon arrival but if you don't have much luggage, try the walk. The overall location however is great, I walked to one of the main attractions of KL (Petronas Towers).

Exceptional 10.0
Wonderful hotel, centrally located
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience staying at Oasia Suites. The staff were quick to respond to our queries, and were attentive. The shuttle service provided was also quite useful during our six-day stay. The room that we got was spacious and the amenities provided were great: a kitchenette with a pan and a pot with the necessary cutlery and plates, glasses and bowls; a fridge; an electric kettle; a microwave oven, a washer/dryer - basically everything you'd need to create a home away from home. The gym was also well-equipped and the infinity pool was clean and provided a great view. Our daughter joined us much later in our stay, and their house-keeping staff, having noticed an extra occupant (maybe it was the shoes, or bag) provided an extra bottle of water and towel for our use without us having to ask. The hotel is located in a safe but quieter street just off the main road (Jalan Raja Chulan) and they are some good eating options less than a five-minute walk away. The KLCC Tower is about a 10-15 minute leisurely walk away. So is Hard Rock Cafe at the Concorde Hotel. KL Tower is just behind. The GO KL (a free bus service that goes to various places of interest around the city) is just at the turning of the road that leads to the hotel. This free bus service runs very frequently and it's a great means of getting around the city centre. Just be ready to squeeze in with the locals who also use the service during peak hours.

Good 6.0
Chosed this hotel for a staycation in KL with family and baby over the long weekend due to nice review and great view of KL tower from the room. Front counter reception provides a seamless check in process and kind enough to provide late check out at 1pm due to travelling with infant. However, the request to check whether there is baby cot available for the room was forgotten but that is fine. We stayed in 901, a 2 bedroom premier suite. Getting to the suite is difficult as there is only an lift (Lift 1) that cover 25+ floors and waiting time is more like 5-10min and sometimes even longer when the lift is full and have to wait for next round. A/C noise is loud. Suite is nice and spacious with washing machine and full set of cooking utensils. However, it is quite disappointing because paying a much higher price for a premier suite you would expect it to be on a higher floor and with better view. The view for my room is very disappointing as it is obstructed on both side. On one side I am looking at a carpark and on the other side it is lower part of KL tower and there is no way of seeing the top of it. Windows on the units are dirty on outside with birds dropping and watermark, it is hard to take a nice photo of the view. As it is located on the lower floor like 9 floor, shower in the bathroom is quite worrying as the windows are not covered completely with blind and pedestrian can easily peep in via the opening that cannot be covered with the blinds at night.

Good 6.0
Great hotel , but the mattress was disappointing
I could have written a fabulous review , the room size was fabulous , all of the staff the doorman, the front desk up to the room service where more than accommodating, we only had one regret and that was the mattress. Unfortunately everything about the hotel was great but the mattress was so much harder than our backs could handle. The staff kindly gave us 5 extra thin donnas that we placed under the bottom sheet that made the sleep more bearable but far from perfect, we even went to the shopping malls looking for a cheap mattress topper Before we travelled we did some research on this hotel and read several times about the bugs in the hallway, this was somewhat true but the staff were pro-active in reducing the bugs and we did not find it offensive or worrisome. The size of the room was the best part with views directly onto the KL tower and its light show every night. We were more than impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the extra space having the lounge to relax after sight seeing, the full size fridge with microwave and hotplate come in handy several times, more utensils would be good but we had enough to do what was required. The swimming pool is clean and relaxing with views of the surrounding area, although I did not use the gym I did have a look and it too was clean and well presented. Overall it is a great place to stay as long as you enjoy a firm mattress. The only reason the overall rating is down is due to the bed, other than that this hotel is recommended

Poor 2.0
Upset and disappointment
After reading many good reviews about this hotel, I've decided to book for this May family trip. It took us awhile to find the hotel as there isn't any direction signage since it was situation at the end of the road. The driveway are super steep and narrow. Every time we need to make 2 point turn in order to drive to the drop off point. Staff at the reception are not as friendly and helpful as mentioned on some reviews, technician are most friendly and helpful instead......Wonder why, for example, I complained to the staff at the reception about water slipping out from the shower room to the walkway after shower and the connection from the pipe to the shower hose drop off halfway showering (luckily there is a rain shower head attached), their gave me a confused look. Luckily a technician was around at the reception, he reacts upon and tell me that he will get it fixed immediately. Everything were fixed when I came back from my lunch. I also asked the staff at the reception if I could grant a late check-out as we are walking down to KLCC to have some breakfast and last minutes shopping since our transport is picking us up at 1pm. Immediately the staff gave me an unfriendly look and said NO, it fully book then walkaway to the office. HELLO, we have 2 rooms, surely you could grant us 1 room till 1pm. Besides, even through I might ask for late check-out, you didn't even ask me till what time and try to make the effort to check but instead just turned me off.
