Very good 8.0
Lovely Resort, service abit slow.
Have stayed at Mulia Suites before and was very impressed. A little disappointed with our 1st time at Mulia Resort. The Resort itself is amazing and spotless. Check in was very slow, waited in lobby for hours for room, as it was not ready. Staff did not seem to care, I think they forgot about us, as when we were finally getting checked into our room, our luggage had disappeared. They then realised that they had already sent them to our room. Asked to book Sunday Buffet, we were told it was fully booked, asked somebody else and they made booking for us. Some staff seemed lost and not too accomodating. We just found we had to wait for many requests for lengthy times and we are not demanding or difficult people.

Exceptional 10.0
An amazing resort
We had 5 nights at the Mulia Resort and loved every minute. Wonderful friendly staff, great breakfasts every morning and an amazing dinner at the Cafe. It has been tastefully decorated, and everywhere you look outside, there are statues, pools, trees and flowers. There isn’t much around the area, but for 3AUD, a taxi will take you to Bali Collection for shopping and restaurants.

Exceptional 10.0
Highly recommended
Excellent hotel with ample localities to sit by the many pools. Does not feel crowded. We saw the staff cleaning railings with a toothbrush - very impressed. Enjoyed the space aged toilets. Request table outside if the queue for breakfast is long. Gym was excellent. Highly recommend!

Poor 2.0
This hotel is very tricky and the way they try to make money (or get more money from you) is very inappropriate considering this hotel is a 5 star establishment. So be very careful and think again if you're considering staying at this hotel. I WARN YOU!! They force me to upgrade my room JUST BECAUSE I have a my 2.5 years old son with us (so in total me, wife, 5 years old daughter, and 2.5 years old son). apparently they said their big standard room with big King size bed is not suitable for 4 persons, even though we all sleep in 1 King size bed. so we ended up have to add an extra bed (after a lengthy negotiation) that we didn't use (with extra cost about $50 a night). To me it is ridiculous. If I bring another adult or another kid of 12 years old or older, I can TOTALY understand. furthermore after discussion with my sister who is a director of events of another well known chain hotel, she explains that's how Mulia treat their guests. even their staffs is trained to 'ignore' complaining guests especially in the situation like this. also apparently they have a 'policy' where if they know you're working for another hotel, they'll happily get their security to escort you out of their property. Very bad practice and arrogance. I am willing to pay twice as much at another hotel rather than paying another penny for ridiculous extra guest reason. Note that this is my first time staying at Mulia and NEVER coming back and give any recommendation to ANYONE!

Very good 8.0
Disappointed I had to leave early
My initial impression was great. However my trip was cut short due to an earthquake. And I didn’t feel comfortable staying any longer.
