Great Counter Staff on leaving....
Handy Hotel, could only stay one night and unfortunately arrived at 7 am and had to pay nearly $80 in order to access room before normal check in, which was a bit stingy of the hotel....Room was fine, bed was comfy and the two Staff at reception were really nice when we booked out, and organised a Grab cab to airport, when they could see we were struggling to find a taxi on leaving,,very commendable folks!

I got a room in the third floor and there was no lift to that floor. To get there I had to go through a maze of stairs and hallways. And the room I got had no window, although the price of this hotel is more expensive than average

The Hotel exterior is lovely Architecture and the refurbishment would have been lovely when it was completed, however today the Hotel is tired and in need of a refresh. The Room lighting is very poor and the Bathroom lighting is worse making it difficult for Shaving and Makeup. The Bed in the Attic Room is funky but not so easy to get in or out of: The Hotel also promised a Jazz Club on-site....this is now closed! The Staff were friendly and courteous and the location is in a very colourful and vibrant part of town.

We had a fantastic stay,great room with free mini bar set up and a complimentary mobile phone with free domestic and international calls to Australia,USA and Asia , Free internet and discounts of up to 60% to major Singapore attractions by booking and paying over the internet on the phone.Also included breakfast. Location was ideal for visits to Little India,The Arab Quarter,Raffles Hotel and close to the MRT(underground).Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room included a coffee capsule machine as well. Will be staying here again next year.
