    The staff was very friendly and helpful. They found and booked excellent tours and a last minute cooking class. Excellent location near the Zocolo and walking distance to everything. Very charming.

    Horrible experience
    I wasn’t able to stay because I called after I made the reservation and they said they didn’t have a room. And now they don’t want to give me a refund. They are very unprofessional and unresponsive. I have called several times to speak the manager and left two messages and she has not called me back. And hotels.com doesn’t help me either. Very disappointed.

    Tsunami in room 111
    Our room flooded. There was a bad storm and I was not informed that the room floods. Everything I had on the floor got soaked... the day before I was leaving. A staff member said they have been trying to tell the owner but she doesn’t want to hear it. For a 5 star hotel, this was very disappointing. The staff is amazing and was quick to respond and help but the damage had already been done.
