Aussie in Copa Beach
Wifi was sporadic on our room - level 6. Had to sit on the bed in the far corner with your legs crossed and tongue out to get a signal. Bathroom was great - shower was huge and great water flow / temperature. Staff were friendly although the doorman tried to con me for my trip to the airport upon leaving. Being a Gringo I agreed to a fixed date of R$70 and he assured me this was a good deal. My girlfriend refused and we flagged down a taxi ourselves out front and the bill was only half that. So a little disappointed that he saw me as an easy way to make money. Room was tidy and other staff were helpful. Some even spoke English which was a MASSIVE help. Only 10 from the beach so location is Perfect for a beach holiday.

Location was amazing, minutes from Copacabana beach & on a main shopping street. Room was very comfortable but air conditioning was too cold in the room & in public areas. Free fast wi-fi, great breakfast. Enjoyed the stay.

improvements for Windsor Co;pa
although staff speaks English , comprehension might be a problem I asked for wake up calls, one day I got one, the other day nobody called also, I think I was given wrong info re international postcard stamps later that day as I left I saw on their reception desk in the corner a sign with the amount of stamps one needs. 3 people at the front desk didn't seem to know the info was right at their front desk walking maps with stores and hotels within the area would be helpful, otherwise ok

Great Location in Copacabana
A nice hotel, in a very convenient location. My room was very small, with a window, but absolutely no view at all, just another wall. I was solo, and two people would be tripping over each other. No coffee, no ice, although both available from room service for $.

Great hotel, good value.
We went for the Olympics and they had great service. The doorman was always waiting for you and would assist you in finding a taxi. Also they had many workers that either spoke English very well or knew enough to easily talk to them. The walk to the beach is very nice, and there are several great restaurants right next to the hotel. I would definitely recommend the Windsor Copa to anyone visiting.
